The SPS2400 Structure Protection Sprinkler is a practical rooftop sprinkler designed to help reduce structure-ignition risk from wind-driven embers and small spot fires. It can be used as a standalone sprinkler, added to an existing hose and water-supply setup, or incorporated into a larger layered wildfire protection system.

Coverage varies with water pressure, wind, sprinkler placement, roof shape, elevation, obstructions, and the number of sprinklers operating from the same water supply.
How It Helps Protect a Structure
The SPS2400 helps wet roofing and nearby surfaces, increase humidity around the structure, and reduce the availability of dry fuels where embers and small spot ignitions may land. It is intended for targeted structure protection and ember exposure—not to stop an advancing wildfire front.
Part of a Layered Protection Strategy
Rooftop sprinklers alone may not be enough. Wind, complex rooflines, overhangs, decks, vegetation, combustible debris, and limited water pressure can create dry spaces and vulnerabilities outside the sprinkler pattern.
The SPS2400 is most effective when combined with:

Regular removal of leaves, needles, and combustible debris
Protection of ember-entry points and sheltered areas
A reliable, tested water supply and evacuation plan
Sprinklers do not make a structure fireproof and do not replace firefighters, home hardening, vegetation management, or evacuation. Their role is to add another layer of protection before and during ember exposure when activation is appropriate and permitted.
Water Supply and Testing
Before wildfire season, connect the sprinkler to the intended water source and confirm pressure, rotation, coverage, hose condition, and drainage. If multiple sprinklers will operate together, test them at the same time. Some properties may require a pump or dedicated stored-water supply.
Fire Department Compatible
Standard hose connections allow responding structure-protection personnel to work with a pre-installed system when time, access, and resources are limited. Pre-deployment can reduce setup time, but activation and use remain subject to site conditions, available water, local restrictions, and incident priorities.
